The Land Party Culture in the Rise of Esports
I wrote a segment that's all about the land party culture in the rise of esports. And it all ties into to doom and deathmatch and even like way back at maze in the beginning, you've got people playing these games against each other. I have my own personal memories of going to a clan cafes in the early 2000s to play Counter-Strike and Battlefield 1942 with my friends. So many people that what the appeal is, that's being able to shoot your buddies and have a good laugh as you're playing along.
