A lot of famous surfers from that period in the 40s and 50s who said, all seem to say the same thing, which was that they thought he was, you know, in their word, the living in when it came to surfing. But he was just someone that you want to do, keep distance from at a party,. especially as it got later. You just wanted to stay away from him.
