How I Transitioned From Physics to Math

I studied physics it was fun as an undergrad and then actually Howard George, I have you ever heard of him? Yes I was at Harvard in the physics department and Howard is a old friend. There was a special advanced physics class that was super fun. Yeah he had me teach it one day once. It was sort of physics for hot shots or something like that. Then I ended up transitioning more into applied math but I kept the physics major. But there was someone named Howard Stone in the applied math department or engineering department and I really liked his fluids classes and his differential equations classes so I did my PhD in applied math and I worked on earth science problems.
