The Dorsal Root Ganglion
A ganglion is where you have a sonaps or a cluster of cell bodies outside the central nervou system. It has a name because it's just outside of the spinal cord. The classic one would be the dorsal root ganglion, which is all the cell bodies of the sensory nerve system. But when we tok out the ordinary nerve system there are para sympathetic ganglions and parasympathetic ganglions - but they're all outside the central nervous osem, outside the brain and outside the spinal Cord.
