Women and Men in the Church Assembly
The Greek words, guine and anair, women and men respectively, they can be translated either one. There's a debate about this arguments for translating them as wife and husband. The reference to childbirth in 215 assumes that most of the women would have been married. It doesn't seem to make sense that Paul is only thinking of married women in chapter two - including widows.
