Should I Have a Trapezectomy With Tendon Interposition?

It's what we do with Achilles tendons now. I've seen a bunch of those and they even do it in the hand. When they replaced the CMC joint, they don't actually put something in there like some sort of prosthetic. It just regs tissue and the body creates like a soft tissue joint. Trapezectomy with tendon interposition. So then LRTI, so you do a trapezectomy,You remove the trapez bone and then you're right, you just use a little bit of tendon and some other stuff that's floating around to fill it into that gap. And it creates this soft, scar-y fibrotic type of articulation.
