The Importance of Family History in Finance
Every male on my dad's side of the family was an army officer except for my dad. My dad had started his own money management firm back in the 80s in France and moved it to the UK. He sold it to a state of the capital for a few years and then basically retired. That was definitely some immediate family history in finance through my dad.
