I think that my budgeting habits also began around the time of thinking about daycare because it is such a new and daunting expense. I started to budget during that time when I was trying to get pregnant thinking like I'm going to build up a little buffer so that once we have our first child we'll have enough for the payments. That's actually the first time I ever really thought about budgeting anything but oh that is an amazing story and I can't believe you conquered six digits worth of debt during that time of your life that is amazing thank you. We're going to talk about kind of the alignment of best laid plans and budgeting in this episode.
