Workplaces Need to Be More Diverse and Open

There's been research recently talking about why so many people over 50 are what's classed as economically inactive. If we want to generate growth in the economy which the government says it does then we need to support those people back into work but at a time of cuts when the NHS is already on its knees it's hard to see where that support is going to come from. I do agree that it's too easy for workplaces to see people with additional health needs as a barrier rather than thinking about how we can make work work for people who have various health needs or who need extra support.
