The Variability of Low Carb Diets
I personally tend to go very low carb for rapid fat loss and retention of muscle. I've had some great athletes, natural Mr. Olympia's who set a foundation through their off season which is very clean. They also eat a truckload of carbs. But conversely, I'm not going to have the other dude eating lots of carbs because he just couldn't get lean. One of the most fascinating things in their process was that one of the fighters didn't follow his prescription because I had him low carb to get him to wait. Then he didn't replenish. He didn't eat his carbs. Guess what? He did brilliantly.
