Is There a Desire for the Experience of the Novelty?
i think it's inevitable we're going to make art that's contemporary. But i also notice another tendency in the world of iconography which is a desire for the experience of novelty itself. Some iconographers want to use this freedom that we talk about to, let's say, what we were saying until o makes total sense if we are focused on the basic idea we mention at the outset. So its like i can integrate this or that aspect of matis,. If my purpose is to create objects with a specific teleology that are there to exist within the communion of the church and not call attention to themselves in a disproportionate way.
