Do We Have a Relationship With Our Parents?
The Buddha placed a fundamental importance on the relationship between parents and children. We can dedicate our wholesome actions to their well-being or awakening, depending on circumstances. It's not clear that bribery is always the best way but sometimes even that might be helpful. The same level of responsibility and care we have towards our kids goes in both directions.
