Eugenic Sterilization and Genetics in Education

The word eugenic is so broad and so unusefulreal to me, that it refers both to things like forced sterilization of adults for being the wrong race or something. It also refers to a couple doing em you know, embryo screening ahead of time to make sure their kid isnt going to be born with a fatal disease. Are two extremely different thingsy, functional and morally, and to use one word to refer to both of them is crazy to me. I mean, i think it makes the conversation really hard.
