Android 14 Developer Pre-Alpha Is Out or Coming Soon

The first developer pre-alpha of Android 14 is out or coming up very soon. It's going to run fewer programs, specifically anything which predates the current permissions regime will no longer be allowed to be installed. Google says that malware apps tend to mark themselves as being compiled for Android 5 so that you can install them and they just have completely free rein over your system.
