Jane Austen's Defiance

Lilline needed Jane Austen to help her understand her own life as it was. And I think that gave her the confidence to ask her husband for a separation. She goes to court, she gets custody, but even though the court orders the children to be returned to her, she says that he keeps taking them and not returning the kids.
