When I was cutting myself, people made it clear, like you're doing a bad thing. It's dangerous. And then with exercise, it definitely was way too far in the other direction. We see any form of exercise as being productive and helps us work harder. But we don't ask why? Why is this person doing it to this extent? What are the harms? When that just seems so unfair.
