The Importance of Social Work in Mental Health
Amy was referred to a mental health service by her grandfather. The social worker spent 18 months working with Amy and her family over the course of their relationship. Liz says she is privileged to have been allowed into this young person's life, witness that struggle but it takes a village as well. She points out there are so many points of disadvantage in this rural area which afflicted this young person and their family.
