What's the Best Way to Communicate Academic Knowledge?

As writers and as communicators of our knowledge, we're always grappling with that, what's the best way to do it? And i suppose that's whaty my book, is about. It's about high lighting that there are different ways to represent academic knowledge. A good writing pedagogy should empower writers to explore those possibilities. I actually don't think that teaching that, exclusively, teaching the rules and the conventions is in the best interests of academic writers. That can be narrowed down to the boundary of process and product and who you want to be read by. In that respect your choices in that respect will have an impact on how people perceive them.
