Most people operate from a place of protecting themselves, which results in avoidance. And then you end up an new there's a metaphor in the book where it's like when we're born, we have access to this beautiful castle with infinite rooms. So i think it's really that desire to feel safe and to protect ourselves from any harm that leads to things like our impending doom generator.
