Why Do We Never See X, Y, Z?
If you cannot formulate a way that in principle would make you change your views, you do not have a scientific theory. And if the methodology is constructed in a way that there's always that type of escape hatch, it's not truly testable. So when Adger says, well, why don't you ever find this? It's like, well, we don't find this because I know you've analyzed this out of existence.
