The Fear of Isolation

All of those years that could be read as waste actually make the story that much more powerful. This is what we see again and again and again with Jesus. For him, it all takes place within a larger unified landscape. He says, I'm in you and you're in me and all of us in God. It doesn't negate any of the horrific nature of it. And yet it all is included in the story.
