Liberal subjectivity is just the assumptions of a princely power democratized, but that still requires some one to be in command of ad. That has to be sublimated away from the populace and towards another. An american constitutional liberty is predicated on that. And it did n't, fact, lead to a civil war. But what has stabilized it at every point is this infusie, this creation of a new frontier of expropriation,. Land that does not have to be fought over within a social structure, but can be collectively conquered and divied up that frontier. The myth, as grandon puts it, is what is what sublimates and resolves class conflict
