The Future of Capitalism
In the U.S., we have a lot of disguised unemployment, and over here, as well. The ratio of the number of people who have jobs relative to the working age population is relatively low. That that is symptomatic again of something not working well in our economy. It's not because they don't want jobs, but they're just aren't jobs. They've looked for jobs. And these become so discouraged that they are actively seeking it. We also know untempered capitalism, market fundamentalism, unregulated, can bring enormous pollution. This has been the source of the carbon emissions which now threaten our planet.
