The App Store Is a Big Part of the App Store Revenue
Apple's app store revenue is a huge part of their narrative to Wall Street as to where the company's growth is coming from with quote unquote services. Apple would not be in financial straits if every dollar they've ever made from their 30 percent went away but now they want to take ads for it too. I actually find it very I find it distasteful whatever the ads are however even if they were the most uncontroversial and tasteful companies that you could imagine.
