The Importance of Forms in Plato's Philosophy

The Neoplatonists will have a specific reading of Plato that was probably normative back then. The forms are the most popular, most famous, most well known, most fundamental element of Plato's metaphysical view. Our world is not totally fake, it's not totally a dream, but it's not as real as the realm of the forms.
