Bones of the Earth - A Short Story
This was one of the stories where i picked it, but i didn't quite know why until i read it and re read it again. It's a story about a man, an old man, who has a chicken coop, who lives in a house,. And one day he notices something is wrong in the world. He tries to find a way to stop an earthquake from destroying his island. The story really resignated with me while thinking about nature writing - that we're incorporating a lot of indigenous knowledge into our understanding.
