HBO Max: A Bad Name Association

HBO executives because of this it was kind widely seen as like a botched launch I think HBO Max we kind of got used to the chromingness of it and they did add more content. Warner Brothers reasoning from that we heard from Zassloff and several executives was like yeah they don't want to quite dilute the HBO brand. They also pointed out like kids program a kids programming used to be a big deal for Warner on Cartoon Network and a lot of other places but shoving that into HBO Max apparently didn't really do much for them.
