Is Canada Going to Lead the Haiti Mission?

The scope is mainly that we don't have enough personnel and capacity to do it, so it's a reality problem as well as a political one. It's clear that Trudeau has had no appetite to take on the mission to Haiti for I think really, really good reasons. Canada is still basically at half of what it should be spending on its military. We're just really a bad partner when it comes to anything to do with meeting our military coalitions.
