Is There a Balance Between Optimal and Non Linearity?

There's a, i don't know if thiss maybe i'm butchering this concept, but there's this idea of optimum grip. And it feels like, yo, you you want to be a for many problems such as picking up fruit that's ripe. But where that is actually is impossible to say. You have to kind of tinker around and feel aroundnd, i really think it is at art. It's not a science. There's some kind of a sweet spot. The problem is that we can't do the calculations.
