The Case of Shaney Warren
Shaney Warren was found dead in Taplow Lake, 25 miles from her home. She had been sexually assaulted and strangled with a car jump lead. Thames Valley Police initially tried to start a murder inquiry. But pathologist Dr. Ben Davis insisted that this was suicide. On hearing the evidence, the coronard little choice but to record an open verdict. Two years later Barwell raised his level of offending still further. This time they at least kept the evidence, right? No. Sadly once again the answer is no.
