Femininity
Sally Kohn: We have attributed masculinity to men and femininity to women. She says the Cheryl Sandberg movement was premised on our distorted idea of what men should be, how men act. Kohn: I think that we are working on having a less distorted definition of femininity.
Jamey, Liz and guest host Andy Grammer discuss positive changes men can make to close the divide between “men” and “good men.” Andy shares his personal experiences performing masculinity and gifts our audience with a surprise spoken word performance from his tour opener!
We are delighted to have Andy join us for a few episodes of our second season. You can expect to see him in a number of upcoming episodes, alternating with Justin as he tours for his new book, Boys Will Be Human.

A native of Los Angeles, Grammer is the son of children's music artist Red Grammer, and grew up in New York State. He later returned to California to earn his B.A. in music industry studies from California State University, Northridge. Much of his career is dedicated to his mother who passed when he was 25. In 2015, Grammer returned with his sophomore album, Magazines or Novels, featuring the singles "Back Home" and "Honey, I'm Good," the latter of which reached number nine on the Billboard chart.
