Toby and Terry Yelled at the Fire and the Crickets

After hastily setting up their tent and a fire, they settled in. While the forest had been just an hour before, full of life, there was now not a single sound around. As the silence settled, it was at that point that Toby pointed out something in the sky. There were three identical points of light sitting low in the western sky in a perfect triangle. And as he and Terry watched, the lights got brighter and began to move rotating while maintaining that triangular configuration. The lights then climbed the horizon, growing brighter still as they grew larger and sped up blocking out entire fields of stars.
