The Generational Divide in China
For our generation, we grew up with still seeing parts of China's poverty. For those born in the noughties, they never saw that kind of before stage of reform and opening. They will feel less optimistic compared to us or their parents who are about like 10, 15 years older than us. But on the other hand, very interesting phenomenon is that these generations who were born and grew up at a time when China was largely out of poverty, they sometimes feel more proud of China.
