Even the Knights of Labor that in theory was all inclusive in practice, it just depended on where you were. Some black people supported separate chapters because we don't want to pair Jews and support white people when we have needs. The Knights of Labor also, as you know, wasn't big on strikes. They actually opposed strikes for the most part. And they set the stage for what would become the key struggles around what the socialist movements will fight for.
