The Blackfire Rebellion

This is a pretty important historical context parallel here, which is the Jacobite rebellion. The Jacobites are most likely the main inspiration for the black fires, if not a very heavy inspiration for them due to the number of overwhelming parallels that come here. There are the legitimate male line descendants of James II driven out of Britain by the so-called glorious revolution to show secret support for the Jacobite claimants. So this is why me and I can say with confidence that this is a strong historical parallel.
