The Dangers of Eating Disorders
In August of 2012, on the Bank Holiday Monday, my father died very suddenly. Immediately it just switched on the desire to be the BMI that she'd mentioned. I was then referred to the eating disorder service and saw a consultant. She said you are severely anorexic and you need intensive inpatient treatment. And I have a bed next Wednesday. But by that stage, it was stronger than I was. Were you aware of the danger that you were putting yourself in? No. I thought I was invincible.
