The Expected Value of a Book Deal
In the time it took me to develop this book proposal with this guy, i could have written two books and published them myself. The average author who publishes a book this way just does not make that much of a splash,. Does not get that many readers or money. So when you multiply that by the probability of simply striking, where like i did everything right, i still didn't even get a book deal.
