I was always interested in the syntax semantics interface. I came into the program with a pretty good training in kind of events based semantics. And then at MIT, I encountered, you know, kind of a more formal way to do compositional semantics. So for example, I worked a lot with indirect objects, also cross linguistically in African languages and causative constructions like they'll broke the glass type.
