Is Prayer a Tool for the Church?

Prayer is a tool for us to begin to shift our way of seeing. Dr Sarah Williams says, listening is the beginning of language. God will speak to His church and give us language that we do not currently have. I wonder, will it perhaps this next renewal, will it not look as loud or outrageous as previous ones because it will lead us towards humility and surrender?
