Confucius Institutes

Confucius Institutes are embedded in our universities, and that's a good place for that sort of work to be carried out. I think it probably depends on the individuals who are running the courses and running the CIs - some will be more enthusiastic and proselytizing than others. But you may not be fed stuff that's immensely positive. And one end of the spectrum, yes, you probably wouldn't hear things like the three Ts and things that are critical of China.
