Social Anxiety Disorder

There is a note that social anxiety disorder can be performance only, and you do want to specify that if it only has to do with giving speeches, performing the sports, music. Use of substances, substance use, misuse or abuse, is often associated with people with social anxiety disorder. As alcohol leaves the body, people tend to have an enhanced anxiety response. Using alcohol prior to a social situation may actually end up causing more problems for some people but that's up to them.
