The Future of Japan's Electricity Market

As of 2022, Japan's total power generation stood at around 900 to around hours. Over 70% was from fossil fuels, evenly split between gas and coal. The remainder is in renewables and nuclear, with renewables making up around 20%. Nuclear's portion was actually around 5%, which is a far cry from pre-focusing era.
