The Social Hierarchy Is a Meritocracy

As we've acome more worried about how seen and judged, we try and put on a good show. It increases the belief that some people are worth much more than others. Money becomes more important because it's what you use to show your worth to others. A argue that there are two quite different responses to this increased ea status anxiety. One ise that you simply feel inferior. You become overcome by feelings of low self worth, a lack of confidence, low self esteem,. And you start to find social interact more em er more stressful.
