The Chinese Communist Party's Censorship of Speech
Li Hoshi said the scene made him think of a phrase used by the people's liberation army that roughly translates to fight well win the battle. Li was suspended from doing any more concerts and his account on Chinese social media site, Wai Bu, has been suspended even after he posted an apology saying he felt deeply guilty and regretful. A subsidiary of the firm that hired him has been fined $1.91 million for telling a joke about the PLA.
