How to Promote YouTube Premium

If YouTube is still not private enough for people with the average threat model, should the privacy community pressure YouTube and adding disabling unnecessary data collection as a feature of premium? I have no idea how willing Google is to make this trade off. So truthfully, I don't think they would. Like even if everybody was willing to pay for YouTube premium, I wouldn't be okay. It definitely touches on some pretty important issues, not just for us, but just the general economy of the internet.
