Tutankhamm is unknown virtually, but everybody's ecstatic until it all goes pear-shaped. Carter and Knarvin make some really bad decisions with Knarvin giving the rights to the London Times. He also invites the wives of his team to visit the tomb, a special showing, which is great. But he doesn't invite the wives of Egyptian officials who are also involved. And not only that, when the Egyptian say can you invite our wives, you know, the officials want their wives to see it, Carter says no. So eventually there is such a clash between the Egyptian Antiquities Service and Carter, because of these bad decisions, that Carter is locked out of the
