For a long time, there was a focus am for boys being vacational subjects. In primary schools that were set up in the nineteenth century, you were less likely to find one that was purely single sex. And so a lot of primary schools kind of organized the segregation that way. To day, in britain, you're in full time education from from four to 18. Nows, that's it.
