Is the Day of Atonement Taking Away Unintentional Sins?
The day of atonement is pointing forward to that eschatological dealing with sins in Christ. But the whole emphasis upon almost all of the service of Israel taking place in the holy place, rather than in the most holy place or the holy of holies, is on account of the fact they've not truly entered into God's presence. And so even there, there seems to be a, I don't know, quite how to phrase it, but an insufficiency of it in some respect.
