John Focker is head of threat intelligence at a cybersecurity firm called Trellix. He used to work on cyber cases with the Dutch Police Department. The operation was aimed at dismantling a dark web marketplace, something called Genesis. Members could buy logins, passwords, IP addresses and get what they needed to break into millions of compromised systems around the world.
