If you treat your workers badly, you're not getting very good returns for your shareholders. I guess the question though is whether thereis some room to a orcultural constraints on either ceo p or what you have to pay workers. That would be more likely in those places you're talking about. And i think when you have welcome representatives in incompet balds, that that sets limits, a toto to co p and that there's no rea surch limits in the west.
Gabriel Zucman of the University of California, Berkeley talks with EconTalk host Russ Roberts about his research on inequality and the distribution of income in the United States over the last 35 years.
